Privacy Policy
Geovise ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Konrad Kluz. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Who processes your data
Controller: Konrad Kluz, operating as Geovise (geovise.ai). Contact: contact@geovise.ai. Based in Poland.
What data we collect and why
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, website, and message. We process this data to respond to your business enquiry. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business enquiries and providing our services. Providing your data is voluntary. However, without your name and email address we cannot respond to your enquiry.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months from the date of receipt. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact@geovise.ai.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights: access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR). To exercise any right, contact us at contact@geovise.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Poland: Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
Third-party processors and international transfers
We use the following processors: Resend (email delivery: EU data processing agreement in place), Umami Analytics (cookieless analytics: EU-hosted, no personal data collected), Sanity (content management: EU region). Vercel (hosting and edge network: headquartered in the USA). Vercel processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, providing an adequate level of protection. Vercel DPA: vercel.com/legal/dpa.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies. We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool, to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and does not track individual users. No consent is required.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling as defined in Article 22 GDPR.
Contact for privacy matters
For any privacy-related questions or to exercise your rights, contact: contact@geovise.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
The "Does AI recommend your business?" tool
When you enter a company name or domain, the tool fetches publicly available pages of that domain (homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, one article) and sends the phrase you typed and the generated question to external AI model providers: OpenAI, Perplexity AI and Google (Gemini API). All three are based in the USA and process data under Standard Contractual Clauses. If the phrase you type contains a personal name, for example in the name of a sole proprietorship, that name is processed as personal data for this purpose. To protect against automated requests we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, SCC), which processes your IP address and technical browser data. We use the IP address to limit the number of checks per hour and keep it for one hour in a counter in an Upstash Redis database (Upstash, Inc., USA, SCC); in logs it is stored in truncated form. The result of a check (company name, question, AI system answers, technical facts about the website) is kept for 7 days under an address with a random identifier so that you can return to it or share it. For every completed check the controller receives an email with the same data in order to handle business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); these emails are kept for up to 12 months. If you provide an email address to receive the result, we use it to send that message and possibly to contact you about an audit; the address is stored with the result for 7 days and in the controller's mailbox for up to 12 months. Providing an address is voluntary and is not required to see the result.
